These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lizards Lose website and online store operated by Shearer Limited Inc. ("Lizards Lose," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be able to enter a binding contract where you live. You may use the site only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misuse checkout or payment systems, scrape the site in a way that harms its operation, or use the site to violate another person's rights.
Product information and experimental-use notice
The Peace Puck is a hand-cast novelty art object for experimental use. It is not a medical device, medical treatment, or substitute for professional medical advice. Statements about materials, observations, user experiences, or experimental concepts are provided for informational purposes and are not promises to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
Each piece is made by hand. Color, surface, inclusions, dimensions, weight, and edges may vary from photographs or from another piece. These normal differences are not defects. Inspect the object before handling or carrying it, follow the care guidance supplied with the product, and keep it away from children if its size, weight, or edges could present a hazard.
Orders, pricing, and payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable sales tax and available shipping charges are shown during checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe through WooCommerce. An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not require us to accept or fulfill an order that contains an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, unavailable inventory, or a shipping restriction. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount collected for that order.
Shipping, international orders, and customs
United States shipping: Standard U.S. shipping is free unless a different option or charge is displayed at checkout.
International shipping: International shipping is charged at a flat $25 rate unless a different amount is displayed at checkout.
Customs and import charges: Duties, import taxes, brokerage charges, customs fees, and carrier collection fees are not included in the product price or international shipping charge and are not collected by Lizards Lose. Any checkout estimate is informational only. The recipient is responsible for charges assessed by the destination country, customs authority, broker, or carrier, usually when the package arrives.
Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, weather, address errors, or events outside our reasonable control. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us promptly if tracking shows a problem so we can help review available carrier options.
Returns, damaged items, and refunds
Contact us through the Contact page before sending an item back. We will confirm whether the item is eligible and provide return instructions. Do not send a return without authorization. Hand-cast variation alone is not a product defect. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, include the order number and clear photographs of the product and packaging so we can review the issue. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Any return-shipping responsibility will be disclosed before a return is authorized, and applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
Website content and intellectual property
The site's text, photographs, graphics, product presentation, branding, documents, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Shearer Limited Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view or print reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, or commercially exploit site content without written permission.
Third-party services and links
The store depends on third-party services such as WooCommerce, Stripe, tax services, hosting providers, and shipping carriers. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy notices. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not make us responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the site will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Product results, observations, or experiences can vary, and no particular outcome is guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shearer Limited Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the site or products. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for a claim relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for losses or claims caused by your unlawful misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights. This provision applies only to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
